    Time delay?

Again, my thanks to the Equis sales and support staff who got me up and running with my RT feed.. sensational work!

... however, I now have more questions? (I feel like a MS newbie, again!)

Is there a setting somewhere that I need to toggle to get "real time" information as opposed to 20-minute delayed data for the Australian Stock Exchange? Or does QC only take the 20-minute delayed feed? If (unfortunately) yes, then where do I get live data?

If I am going to actively trade our market here, Down Under, I would like to be trading at the same time as everyone else!

    Re: Time delay?

Equis Sales should be able to answer that.
I believe it is a setting on your account.

    exchange fees perhaps

hey wabbit...... just tossing out a thought which parrallels brandons, here in the states we must pay a couple bucks extra for exchange fees, in addition to qc data for realtime...... otherwise your data will be the standard 20 minute delay type.... that fee is collected for each market......

an industry standard fee for all suppliers, qc, esignal and such...... yalls deal might be different or strange, some things are in the land down under .....h

    Re: exchange fees perhaps

Wabbit, the ASX monopoly charges like a wounded bull for a real-time data feed, but 20min-delayed data remains free.

You will need to find an Oz broker that offers RT ASX data - expect to pay hefty monthly fees for it.
