Although it isn't perfect there are two immediate options to view the most recent posts etc...
From the http://forum.equis.com/forums/default.aspx page, in the Shortcuts section (top right of the page) yuo can select to View Posts You Have Not Read (
http://forum.equis.com/forums/TopicsNotRead.aspx) or a bit further down in the right side links there is Most Recent topics (
http://forum.equis.com/forums/TopicsActive.aspx) On this page, at the top there is a drop-down box that says "Show All" as the default. Click this and select "New Since Last Visit"
(Now I dont know if it because of some of the security settings in my computer, but when I select the "new since last visit" function I still get to see ALL the posts? I don't save cookies and have numerous other security settings that seem to play havoc with some websites. (W3C standard compliant sites (funnily enough) aren't affected!)
George has already explained the Mark All Posts Read is a high priority; see
http://forum.equis.com/forums/thread/19727.aspxYes, it is a pain to visit each and every forum to mark it read, but you only have to do it once!
I know it is not a lot of comfort right now, but I think the Forum has some enormous benefits over the old site, even if therre are still some teething problems.
