Just want to check if the MDK can help to automate the execution the explorer. For example, I have 10 entries in explorer need to be executed daily, then 10 exploration results can be saved to a database, e.g. mysql, so that I can use another program to monitor the database and send alert (through SMS, email) based on the results.

Can the existing MDK help?

No, the MDK is not capable of making MetaStock do anything.
You can use the MSX part to write a DLL that MetaStock can pass data to a formula and get results back to plot.
You could also use you MSX DLL to pass that data on to a database or file.
