    Forex Templates

Alright - small disclaimer. I am no expert. :) This is a template that one of our more successful forex traders uses. Thought I would post it up here for everyone to have a look at. If you have feedback about it please let us know!

It is a self-extracting exe. You will have to rename it from forex.xxx to forex.exe to get it to work.

    Thanks - Marilyn

These are the suggestions designed to work with that template:

    1. Use the Daily Chart to determine current trend usually the trend for the past week. Use the Black Line to determine trend.
    2. Do not trade when RSI is between 30% and 70% on the 5 min chart. Wait for the 5 min chart to agree with the trend when it reverses.
    3. When RSI snaps Below 70% or below 30% execute a trade if it agrees with the trend. Then waid for MACD to confirm on 15 minute chart.
    4. If no MACD confirmation follows the RSI, close the Trade or don't open trade. If MACD confirrms RSI keep trade open. Canstantly study FAST on moving averages.
    5. Exit when RSI, MA, or MACD indicate to close. If RSI reverses when around 50% and only 10 to 15 pips have been made, close the trade. If RSI resverses when around 50% and 40-to pips have been made, perhaps suffer a retracement reversal and wait for the trend to continue later.

*if Price bar lengths become shorer, momentum is waning.
    * A Flat top on RSI strongly suggest a reversal.

    Re: Forex Templates

    I consider this a free plug-in :D
I do remember Jack saying that you should paper trade this until you get 13 conscutive winning trades which would mean you understood the system ...

By the way, this is not a recomendation to buy or sell blah blah blah, use at your own risk etc ... etc ...

I would like also to acknowledge Jack Fancher for his contribution and thank him for giving us his templates and work process. Not many successful people are willing to share their secrets ...

    Re: CURIOUS

What scripting code are you referring to?
As far as I know the Forex.exe only uses indicators and tools already available in MetaStock ...
You will see that these are just chart templates.

    Re: Just in time

OK, My first trade (paper) on my free trial platform...........Everything looked great RSI below 30 on 5 min chart, MACD confirmed on 15 min chart, looking good...........Uh oh.....Turned around on me.hmmm what did I not do right??
I DID NOT CONFIRM THE TREND with the Black line (50 day EMA) It was pretty flat when i bought so that was my fault. I was looking at the last week or so of the bars that were starting a small uptrend, DUH, I already broke rule #1, the black line.
    Will keep you posted.

    Re: Just in time

 Damn rule # 1

I found out you are supposed to run 30 consecutive winning trades before you should use it live :)
Not 13 like I mistakenly though

In any case I wish you the best of luck.

Has anyone tried the 5 min forex or the EZ Trade Forex Trading System from Diamond forex trading?

    Re: Just in time

    Now i'm a bit confused.
    1. Lets say that an uptrend is established as shown by the black line on a daily chart. Easy enough.
    2. At this point we wait for the RSI to snap BELOW 30 and not trade when between 30 and 70? By the time the 5 min chart agrees with the trend to make a buy (or sell if RS is at 70 and chart is turning down)the RSI is long out of the below 30 range and when the RSI is below 30 its only there for a brief moment.

I'm pretty new to all this stuff so just want to see if my understanding of this is correct.
Also, what do you mean by "Constantly study FAST on moving averages"?
    Thanks!! :D #-o

    Marilyn:
I'm trying to see if this template can be applied to stocks for day trading. Any thoughts, comments, suggestions, etc. would be welcomed.

    Re: Just in time

I doubt Marilyn knows the answer to this. ( no offense to you Marilyn :D )
Like everything else, I would say "Try it".
If it works ... great, if not then you will know for sure that it does not.

It is not because something was designed for futures that it will not work for stocks ...
