There is now a solution in place to update the online trading applications that are included with MS. Specifically, there is a means to update ProFXTrader to the current version 2.0.1. MS v9.2 shipped with ProFXTrader v2.0.0 and since then a couple of bugs have been addressed.
* In MetaStock, select TOOLS | OPTIONS | TRADING
* Click UPDATE LIST
The second bug in ProFXTrader is one in which you click on the User's Manual button in the interface application and nothing happens. Right now, there is a workaround available:
* Open the Windows Explorer and browse to the C:\\Program Files\\Equis\\MetaStock\\OnlineTradingDlls folder
* Locate the 'UserGuide.chm' file and copy it into the C:\\Program Files\\Equis\\MetaStock folder. Note this is the default installed location and will be different if the user changed this during their installation.
After these updates, you should see v2.0.1 on the interface window and the User's Manual button should work.
