Margin Requirements: 200:1 on forex for example...why metastock has limited margin requirements? (5 on long initial ...thats 20:1... i think) ...if i wanna test forex :eek: i can only use point only test and those very useful simulations functions are uselles :wink: . Is this a problem with v9.0 and it`s fixed on newest versions? Can anyone with v9.1 or v9.2 tell me if on these versions one can set higher margins (100:1 or 200:1...thats 1% and 0.5% in metastock long initial)

The margin in MetaStock is the margin required for Stock trading. These Margins are not used for Futures or currencies.

The point only testing was added for futures and currency trading.

So if you would like to trade10 mini contracts and determine how much you system made you test with point only testing. If your result was 100 points profit then you would have made 1000 dollars.
