"Insert disk" will be a problem

I have Metastock EOD 9.0 (bought new from Paritech, have paperwork etc) but when moving house recently I seem to have lost the Metastock CD. When using Metastock in the past a message has come up from time to time, asking for the CD to be inserted. This is not a problem at the moment, but when/if  the message comes up next time it is going to be. Any ideas?

    Thanks for any help.

hey mike.... might be a good idea to call/email paritech now... there is a alternative method to cd verification but equis or paritech might have to be involved....  lost cd's must be a common thing, surely they will understand.... esp being you have the paperwork.....h

    Mike,

Send e-mail to Paritech with your Certificate number. (You can get it by clicking "Lost CD")

Paritech will contact Equis and get verification key for you.

Once you get the ley, you can copy/paste and click ok.

MetaStock will not ask you a key anymore.

Let me know if you have any questions.Smile [:)]

    Hayseed & Tadwa,

    Thanks very much.

I still have a record of my "9.0 Setup Key". Is this just the same as the verification key I'd be able to get from Equis via Paritech? .

Verification key is different from "9.0 Setup key". =)

You need to get a verification key from them.

Make sure that you give them your certificate key.
