    Quotecenter data problems...unresolved still.

    Hello everyone,

Today was my first full day trading after having switched from Esignal to Quotecenter and I've had nothing but problems! Tech support said there've been server issues today but I'm thinking of cutting my losses short and going back to Esignal, where I never had a problem.

First, I had no volume on several charts in my layout. Then, I tinkered with the periodicity and somehow that got volume started, but then some charts suddenly had ridiculously huge bars, and each refresh of data would only turn the recent bars into monsters too. I tried opening and closing Metastock many times, accessing different servers each time, and had only different variations of the same problem. I can't work this way.

I've read nothing but good things about Quotecenter online, but now I'm wondering if those were comments by shills....

Did anyone else experience any problems today with Quotecenter?

    Re: Quotecenter data problems...unresolved still.

It looks like Quotecenter has finally got the major server problems fixed but the data quality is horrible! I watch the emini Russell 3 minute chart and the bars are constantly dropping data, which gives me incorrect highs and lows of bars, which are my entries and exits. I also get many bars that gap on the open of them, which is obviously incorrect as I'm trading during normal market hours.

I first noticed this a few months back as a person that I trade with kept having differences in bars when compared to mine. The proof of who had the correct data was when I kept getting filled even though my bars didn't indicate the price having reached that level yet. I am estimating that about every 3rd or 4th bar have incorrect highs and/or lows. I've also noticed that sometimes the bars get corrected the next day. Thank God I am trading with someone who's got correct data. I've become dependent on this person to get me in and out of the market correctly.......

I've mentioned this to Greg in sales and he seemed unaware and I've had no follow up regarding the situation. This is nothing but a very dangerous toy at this point.
