I just subscribed for QuoteCentre.I already had MS Pro 10.1.

1) There seems to be another program to install,which would NOT installed named  QuoteCenter Software (QuoteCentre851.exe),as it looked like i already had the folders it was trying to install.

2) So i opened MS Pro and entered the correct username and password in the Reuters NewsBridge ( i think its correct) with the info from the "Access your QuoteCenter Account"  email to allow "running the software and datafeed",and MS Pro 10.1 opened.

3)When i opened the chart for security zgz8 (and zg z8).Both times i got a message in the chart saying "data unavailable" for both security codes.

4) I also did subscribe for Live Data for the CBOT,and received the order confirmation and saw in the "subscriptions" in my account at equis.com that it was "active"

Ques1) I cannot seem to find how to change the username and password,if that is the wrong one.

Ques2) I am also wondering if i really need that QuoteCentre851.exe to install,as the version of MS PRO is for QuoteCentre,not the eod or other version.

 

What is the matter with it ?

You would not be able to log in if it was not the correct login information.  You would have to have the QuoteCenter software already installed for MetaStock Pro to connect.  If you are not sure which version of QuoteCenter is installed, you can launch QuoteCenter and choose Help-->About Workstation to get the version.

You should be able to install the software, however.  What exactly is happening when you try and install the QuoteCentre851.exe?
