I know as Volatility Index especially one Index.

I do not know the Active Trader Magazine what wrote about it, but i think that is maybe the Same Index.

I want to note that in the Downloader when you try to create a Symbol, when you choose, Indices (Datalink Symbols) with the Group All, the Volatility Index has the Symbol:  .VIX  .
