Joseph Blazie (User Group leader in Chicago) presented "Defining the Bull and the Bear" at his last meeting and had a very positive response from everybody in attendance. This presentation helps MetaStock users program the Expert advisor for bullish and bearish signals. The power point presentation will walk you through how to define bullish and bearish signals while the ms word document will walk you through how to program it in the Expert advisor. New User Group Management

My name is Alex Henricks and I am a new Marketing Coorindator with Metastock. One of my responsibilities is to be a tool user groups can use when they have questions, requests, etc. Please feel free to contact me and I will do my best to assist you and your group with your needs and requests. Please note, this is a new position for me and I will be charting new areas (with you) that haven't been approached by Metastock. With that said, I can guarantee that I will do my best to address your needs and requests.

Now, for a little bit about this forum: This forum will add a roster email list that will make your announcements easier to send (via private messages) to people in your group. Another feature of this forum is the ability to allow someone to join your group (or not.) Please ensure your group exists in the forum and you are its moderator. If your group does not exist, please contact me. If you would like to create a new group, let me know what the group is about and I will create it for you. As I mentioned earlier, this is a work in progress so feel free to approach me with new ideas and ways to improve this forum.

Our fortieth Chicago Area MetaStock® User Group meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 1 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. It will be held at the College of Dupage (Glen Ellyn, IL) in the OCC Building room128 A. Please park in Lot B or Lot M. A map of the campus and a map of the area are provided in the links below.

UK User Group 2007

The last couple of proposed meetings were cancelled because we did not get enough members together due to the geographically dispersed membership around Britain. However the UK community is talking and helping each other by email. It's very interesting - One is day trading.... Another is a beginner learning from an expensive training course and which he said he would share his experience with us.... Another is writing a program to find buying opportunities in ranges and cycles....another is an end of day trader because he has a full-time job....plus others too ...

For those of us in the boonies, too far from physical user meetings, has anyone looked into setting up a group text chat or video conference online? This will be routine within a short time, but it's doable now via Skype for conference text chats and maybe there's a video-chat site out there that doesn't cost a fortune.

There is a Computer Investing User Group (CIUG) that meets every third Saturday of each month from 10AM to 2PM near Philadelphia, PA. We have more than 60 members and about half show up at our monthly meetings to discuss Technical Analysis. We have been meeting since 1984.

Time: 7.30pm. Venue: RE Bar, Field End Road, Eastcote.

Nearest tube = Eastcote (Metropolitan & Piccadilly Lines). Turn right out of the station, walk towards the shops.

Nearest motorway M40/A40 - This route is fast and easy to navigate with clear landmarks. Turn north on to the A312 (Harrow) at the “Target Roundabout” where there is a huge MacDonalds. Keep out of the bus lane.
Turn left at the traffic lights – just past the hump-back bridge by Northolt tube station.
Follow the road and keep going straight ahead at the round about.
Straight ahead at the traffic lights – just past the hump-back bridge by Eastcote tube station on your right.
The bar is on the left. There are huge car parks behind the shops - follow the signs.
