Anyone have Experience with Profit Trader?

If you have any experience with Walter Bressert's Profit Trader, please post a reply. I would like to know how you like the Plug-In and see what advantage is has given you.

    Thanks.

    Re: walters deal

    Dear hayseed,
Could you please also post some pictures for Dr. Elder's Trading Room plug-in as well as give some comments for PowerPovits Plus, Dr. Elder, Chart Pattern, Walter Bressert, ETS Trading plug-ins. Which one is the best?
I was attracted by Equis Offer and bought Bollinger Tool Kit and PowerPovits and got ETS free of charge. Those plug-ins are on the way to my home.
    Thank you.

    power pivots

hey lim..... when i first looked at power pivots it seemed to be very complex but just as useful..... and a year later it's a certain..... for me, trading is easier with the wind at my back...... power pivots helps monitoring each time frame which keeps me betting on the larger trend and not against it........
its very complex though..... as you probably know, henry here on the forum is probably one of the worlds most adept at using/understanding it......

i'll be lookin at dr elders deal next week..... walter's is likely to take a few days and i'll sort it out this weekend.....

john murphys chart pattern recognition pluggin is probably the only of its type available for metastock..... there are some free sites where you can draw any sort of shape or pattern and the site will return stocks whose charts are close matches.... patterns have also interested me.....

have yet to decide which is best..... and of course, as we all trade differently, my choice for best might not be someone else's....... h

    Hi hayseed,
Are you still happy with Profit Trader. I am interested but it is expensive. I am not sure whether it is worthwhile.

    walters deal

hey lim..... markets like we've had lately are where i excel, so been in'em deep...... forgot about this , sorry..... i'll post something better tonite...... first though, my trading is vastly different than most.... huge losses are common.... so if something can prevent some them, its worth a fortune to me in loss savings alone.....

but if and only if, i follow the signals...... which brings me to yesterday.....

as an example, one of my accounts is down right now roughly 30% from yesterdays open..... had i followed walters 'buy' signal, i'll post tonite, that same account would be up roughly 60% from yesterdays open..... i didn't follow it and have no excuse......

walters 'short' signal came across at 1 pm cst.... i'll post it tonite.....

for me without a doubt, walters deal was worth it..... i'm using the realtime version..... the first trade paid for it and much more..... your markets over there might trade different so truthfully i can't say how it will work for you.....

i trade options on the diamonds, spyders, oex , smh and such..... the daily price swings are wide and brutal..... walters intraday helps limit the black eyes or at least limits them to one at a time...... i'll post much better tonite.......h

Re: Anyone have Experience with Profit Trader?

I own Profit Trader but have had a hard time seeing much in it that you can't get from a couple of moving averages and stochastics. I find it somewhat useful because I do like to use stochastics but there is nothing unique there and the "timing bands" don't have any use at all.
