    Are post times accurate?

I have the time set under my profile to be GMT +8 (Hong Kong, Beijing) (apparently Perth doesn't rate a mention!) but the times listed in the posts are an hour later than my local time?

I posted this post at 23:40 (+8) (15:40 GMT) (give or take a minute)

and the post shows up with a time stamp in my (supposed) local time of 00:42

    Re: Time?

Mine is correct, but that doesn't mean anything.  All of the post times are adjusted based on your profile selection and are relative to the server time (MST).  I don't know that much about time differences and correcting them and daylight savings etc., but I will add this bug to our watch list.  In the mean time, do you think you can correct your time temporarily by choosing  +7 instead of +8 and just know that you live in Perth and not Hanoi?
