Date Order - RSS and Forum

Aren't Forum Topics supposed to be in reverse date order, both in RSS and any given Forum?

Post order preference is set in the user profile under Site Options.

I've tried that. It seems to only affect the order of posts in a single thread. But, THREADS need to be in reverse date order, or new ones will never show up on RSS. All my other RSS feeds are in reverse date order...
