for me -using 15 years ms- it's still unbelievable that Equis has stil the old layouts. Never noticed who messy it gets when opening 2 layouts? Why not in tabs like most programs? Like Tradestation for example.

It should also be possible that different templates stay open in different windows using tabs. So you have one stock selected and you can view that very easily with different templates.  For example one template with indicators, second with XOchart, third with TD Combo and ma's.

Tabs would be nice.  You can currently add layouts to the custom toolbar at the bottom of MetaStock.  If you have multiple layouts open, simply click the button of the layout you want to look at and it comes to the foreground.  Hope this helps.
