Hi,

I would like to generate a single composite index of all the stocks in the the varioius subfolders of the "Stocks Grouped by Sector" folder in the local Metastock data base.  Unfortunately, Fire generates an index for every folder containing securities.  That is, it is a folder based utility.  I can't create a single folder containing all the securities since the number of securites in these folders exceeds the upper limit that Metastock supports.  Besides, that would be tedious.  Also, I noticed that all the securities in the Reuters Datalink "Stocks Grouped by Sector" folder are listed alphabetically under the subfolders, but I can't find that in the Fire dialog.  Besides, I'm not sure how synchronized the Reuters Datalink "Stocks Grouped by Sector" folder is with my local Metastock database "Stocks Grouped by Sector" folder. 

Anyone have any idea on how to get a single composite index of all the "Stocks Grouped by Sector" stocks with Fire?
