Has anybody had this problem before?

I am new to MetaStock and I am yet to complete a download of Data. Downloader starts properly and seems to run OK for half an hour and then it hangs whilst downloading a price for a security.

I have 20GB free on my drive

My internet is connected properly as I can browse and use Internet Explorer as Downloader is hanged

Can anybody help?

If it hangs for more than 3 minutes, it is generally an FTP related problem.
Reuters Datalink is in the process of upgrading. Contact support and see if it may be possible to be part of a Beta test for the new servers (let them know of the problems that you are experiencing...)

The server is not stable, your downloader would hang if the server did n't response properly.
Just stop the downloader or close it, retry If you think the server is not busy.
