Possibility to connect metastock to a broker to implement a trading system?

    Dear All,

Once I have found a trading system I am happy with, can I link metastock to a broker so that it trades automaticaly the signals generated by my system on several U.S. and European stocks at the same time?

    Cordially,

Yes it is possible: you'll need a broker with an API which will let you connect directly to their broking platform to execute the trade instructions, an interface for this API from Ms to send the instructions to the API, redundant communications, redundant power, impeccable understanding of the complexities and RISKS involved.

Please do a LOT more research before considering this idea further.  Keywords: automated trading, algorithmic trading, high frequency trading, HFAT, robotic trading, robots, expert advisors (an MT4 phrase) etc
