I am having a problem with metastock 9 and Forex.

The profitunity expert for instance, If you go to the commentary window all the values are the same ie Euro everything is 1.33 open, close, high , support … the lot :?

I have removed all profitunity formulae, experts etc ... from my metastock (not because of its worth just because i'm tidy :) and I never used it ). Which means I can't confirm what I'm about to say ...

I don't have forex data either, do they come with open high low and close values or are they like indices and only have one value ?
If the answer is yes then it is probably why you get the same value everywhere ...

If the answer is no, try applying the expert to an indexwith just a close value and see what happens, then apply on a stock ad see what happens. Let me know, and again I'm just making an assumption here

thanks for your reply.

I have tried the expert and others I have loaded with the stock data that comes with MS9 and they all work fine.

They just dont like my Forex data for some reason

I have found the problem, However not the solution. :(

The experts/display works fine with USD/JPY as it is 2 digit $1.22
But and 4 digit GBP/USD $1.2222 will not work.

Is there a way around this
