Yesterday I signed up to move from eSignal V 9.0 MetaStock Pro to MetaStock Pro V 9.1 with Quote Center. I have signed up for the Exchanges for Quote Center and followed all of the upgrade instructions

My instructions from my Equis email say "click to download "MSQuoteCenter91Pro""

I downloaded it and clicked on it to install -- it starts to install and then it is stopped by the error message:

You must install Quote Center before installing this verion of MetaStock Professional 9.1
Restart this installation when Quote Center has been installed.

I think MetaStock made a mistake in what they had me download. I assumed the download would include the MetaStock Quote Center V 9.1 program AND the Reuters program needed to receive the data -- I was not correct in my thinking.

Does anyone know how to solve the problem of the missing Quote Center program listed in my error message above? Thanks Rick

hey rick..... can you tell the size of the file you downloaded ..... the qc pro 9.1 bundle should be approximatly 272 mb...... meta pro 9.1 itself should be slightly less than 100 mb.....

the bundle contains all 3 programs, meta, qc and the downloader...... h

h the downloaded file reads "MSQuote Center91Pro" 211MB -(211,339,648)

hey rick.... the diff in size might be the 'bundle' would perhaps include some extra features, by extra i mean things that would not be of use to you..... so your download should be correct.....

my download was a zip file that when opened contained an install step for qc itself so your install might be a 2 step deal, with the first step somewhat easy to overlook.... seems the actual qc install icon was different......

i'll reinstall mine today to check the steps.... i recall your exact same error message....h
