I offered the chart simply as a sneak peak to show some extended periodicity capability under development. This is a breakthrough beyond the 60 minute limitation in current versions.

That being said, the MDK does support VB6, just not for MSX functions. VB6 sample code and examples are included to show how one can use it to interface with the MSFL (MetaStock File Library). This is discussed in section 6 of the manual.

Yes, the macro functionality I am refering to is outside of the formula shell. So that user workflow may be automated in various ways.

Macro's offer extreme automation functionality. The users will benefit in many ways. It is certainly on my list :-)
