Hey V,
We're back up, but I wanted to say that we do have a static IP. Beyond that, I don't know what useful information I can offer. NOC's, tipping points and such are way out of scope of knowledge, though I'm thankful for the engineers that can work through problems such as these.

Network engineers are working on an internal DNS problem in Baltimore that should see resolution in a few hours. This should bring up our 'new' server. The TC administrative staff greatly appreciates your patience during this time.
At this time, we do not have a reliable timetable for full service availability of our server that is currently down.

Dear Hawk-
What you are describing is Anarchist Democracy, a concept to which I do not subscribe.

''Surrendering'' your account simply consists of you no longer using it. Even though you have decided not to participate in the forums, both current and future members can still benefit from your past dialog. That is why it is important to preserve the integrity of your account. Deleting a member altogether from the ...

I am heart sunken and hope that one day our community leaders will be able to work together again. Preston, Roy, Jose, and many others stand out as entheauseists with a common zeal for helping average consumers such as myself. We look up to you all.

The ultimate goal of any community should be to promote and share ideas and resources. There is nothing wrong with the concept of moderator-approval forums, but they certainly aren't for everyone. We all have different learning/teaching styles... that's ok.
Really, we don't need to lose another valuable MetaStock community ...

Traders' Consortium is a forum for investors and active traders. It is not trading platform specific, but it does include an area for such discussions. The site is php based, not aspx, and is using the IPS software suite which has been around forever. The point is... stability.
As with all things new, there are a lot of kinks to ...

Sym files are the way to go. If you created individual stocks to reflect the IBD100, in QC for example, you'd be updating them constantly. Converting an entire list is easy enough and you'll have the historical data too. Here are some more links on this topic: IBD100

''Haven't figured out a way to get around MS's insistence on only running once.''
It's a violation of the EULA. You can search the forum for previous discussions on this topic.

There are at least a few 3rd party products that can feed non-standard data into MS, both EOD and RT. Search Google or try a site search here.

Yes, the workspace is just a viewing template. You must load your own list of symbols. You can do this and then use any template (pre-defined or custom).

Thank goodness for the positives, H. No apologies

wabbit:Seems the user monitoring service and the post monitoring service are getting their time/date information from different places? Or is eveything date stamped on the server date and not the user date? Thanks, Wabbit... I'm still trying to find out what I can, but I don't think this bug will have a quick fix. :-(p.s. Happy ...

Here's the final word on nutrition and health. It's a relief to know the truth after all those conflicting medical studies.

2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than the British or Americans.
3. The Japanese drink very ...

jjstein:Am I missing or misunderstanding something?
Perhaps. Any threads that are sticky or announcements will always be presented at the top of the list before all routine threads. This is normal and will seemingly list the threads out of date order.

Don't forget that asp.net is caching your changes. That means that when you do change something, it may take 10-15 minutes for the change to become apparent. I don't have a ready answer for you. I would suggest changing your option to ascending and then back to descending. Wait 15 minutes, clear your cache and cookies and log ...

Hi Nobel-
It wasn't about fixing something that we perceived was broken in the layout. More or less, the current layout is stock from CS... with the exception of the links box that we added for the very reason you are mentioning. Design and layout are not something that I'd call complete. Not by a longshot... and, I really ...

If URI's do not show up as hyperlinks, just copy and paste the address(es) into your browser.
