• Re: Traders' Consortium

Hey V, We're back up, but I wanted to say that we do have a static IP. Beyond that, I don't know what useful information I can offer. NOC's, tipping points and such are way out of scope of knowledge, though I'm thankful for the engineers that can work through problems such as these. • Re: Traders' Consortium

Network engineers are working on an internal DNS problem in Baltimore that should see resolution in a few hours. This should bring up our 'new' server. The TC administrative staff greatly appreciates your patience during this time. At this time, we do not have a reliable timetable for full service availability of our server that is currently down.

  • Re: When MetaStock community & personal agendas clash

The ultimate goal of any community should be to promote and share ideas and resources. There is nothing wrong with the concept of moderator-approval forums, but they certainly aren't for everyone. We all have different learning/teaching styles... that's ok. Really, we don't need to lose another valuable MetaStock community ...

  • Traders' Consortium

Traders' Consortium is a forum for investors and active traders. It is not trading platform specific, but it does include an area for such discussions. The site is php based, not aspx, and is using the IPS software suite which has been around forever. The point is... stability. As with all things new, there are a lot of kinks to ...

Sym files are the way to go. If you created individual stocks to reflect the IBD100, in QC for example, you'd be updating them constantly. Converting an entire list is easy enough and you'll have the historical data too. Here are some more links on this topic: IBD100
